Over 150 Local Students, 47 Workplaces Take Part in 25th Annual Career Partnership Day

On Thursday, December 7, 2017, members of the greater Bethesda business community, Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, and Junior Achievement of Greater Washington partnered to provide students with the opportunity to explore the world of work by visiting more than 47 workplace sites and shadowing a mentor for the day.

Eastern High School students visit Bureau of Engraving and Printing during JA Job Shadow experience

On Thursday, May 5, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington sent 17 students from Eastern High School in Washington D.C. to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) to participate in a JA Job Shadow program. The participating students are either currently enrolled or have previously been enrolled in Ms. Perkin’s Art class at Eastern High School. The aim of the overall experience was to introduce the students to various artistic and creative jobs offered at the BEP.
