Pepco and Washington Gas Join Forces to Expand Partnership with JA of Greater Washington

Pepco and Washington Gas have joined forces to expand their partnership with Junior Achievement of Greater Washington.

In addition to serving as the Home Utilities Storefront Partner at JA Finance Park® Prince George’s County, Pepco and Washington Gas will now do the same at JA's forthcoming JA Finance Park in Montgomery County.

As the JA Finance Park Montgomery County Home Utilities Storefront, Pepco and Washington Gas will help young people understand what it takes to power a home and how those costs play a role in their ability to be financially successfully in the future.

“Washington Gas has been a part of the D.C. metro area for 169 years, and we consistently look for new ways in which we can promote education and inspiration in the communities we serve,” said Adrian Chapman, president and chief operating officer for Washington Gas.

“We fully support Junior Achievement’s dedication to providing our next generation of leaders with the financial skills they need to succeed. JA Finance Park has been a great success since it began in Fairfax County and expanded into Prince George’s County. We look forward to playing a role in helping JA bring this great concept to the students in Montgomery County.”

Junior Achievement of Greater Washington is grateful for the continued and expanded support of both Pepco and Washington Gas.
